“I have practised as a commercial litigation lawyer for over 15 years based in Auckland and also spent a year working for a leading Sydney law firm. 

My practice areas include disputes involving contract, negligence and Fair Trading Act issues, and many other property-related areas.  I have a particular interest in building disputes and regularly act for parties in ‘leaky building’ proceedings in the High Court and Weathertight Homes Tribunal.  I also have extensive experience in real estate agency issues, particularly those involving compliance and licensing.”

Litigation Experience

• Appearing in various Courts and Tribunals in New Zealand and New South Wales, arbitrations, and numerous mediations.
• Acting for parties in leaky building proceedings, including Bodies Corporate in multi-unit claims, as well as representing respondent parties, including builders and product manufacturers.
• Prosecuting real estate disciplinary proceedings for over 10 years and representing agents in proceedings before the Real Estate Agents Disciplinary Tribunal.
• Representing a leading real estate company in relation to its litigation requirements.
